I just finished writing an article about autistic ableism in activist writing, and it wiped me writing it. because we're so often excluded when we exist in every category except "neurotypical."

But seeing neurodiversity mentioned in your article made me feel seen because so often, it gets forgotten.

I have privilege as a white cis middle-class woman, and it is my job to be inclusive and mindful in my writing too. As you said, it is both fun and uncomfortable. But it is necessary.

I like how you emphasize the importance of both talking about our struggles and recognizing privilege. It is so so so important and we all, myself included, need to practice getting better at it.
